madras Christian college is one of the top colleges of the country (INDIA) .
M.A. in economics is most reputed courses . It has a very good placement .Various companies like Deloitte, ernst &young ,RBS,Sutherland, royters(1or2) ,TCS, Wipro,accenture and a lot more MNCs come for placement every year.

MCC is a place where you can find everything and meet all kinds of people. It has a beautiful campus. Legit. But it all depends on what you are looking for, out of a college. If academics is your main priority, I would say there are better colleges. But few depts, are actually really good ( i wouldnt say that for all). I think its one of the most liberal colleges in south India, and you can truly have an experience and learn a lot here (about life). They beauty of MCC is, you will find all types of people here, and you can carve a niche for yourself. It gives you a certain amount of liberty for that.
