It is basically depends on your capacity to learn, your interest etc.
But generally students find it easier compared to ECE or EEE, whereas tougher compared to CSE, ISE, Civil.
Scope of Mechanical Engineering -
Mechanical Engineers get decent jobs in automobile industry, space research, energy, aeronautical, air conditioning, medical industry, turbine manufacturing plants, oil and gas plants. They can work in private sector that provide technical consultancy to both corporate and government companies.
In the Government sector, there are plenty of job options available like Railway, Aircraft industry etc.
Students can look for career in teaching also.
Big companies like Bharat Electronics Limited, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited, BHEL hires these engineers as well.
