Is Morrison Boyd a good book for jee mains, or it is beneficial for advanced?

Morrison and Boyd is definitely a good reference book for Organic Chemistry to prepare for Jee Main. But first you must complete NCERTs then you should go for any other book. NCERTs hold the entire syllabus and help to have a clear conception, so everyone should start with NCERT textbooks. To prepare for Organic Chemistry you must understand the mechanism first. Then by rewriting the equations you can get a grip over them. You can also make a chart containing Reactors, Reagents and products. After completing NCERT you can practice from Morrison and Boyd. But this book is mostly recommended by the experts for Jee Advanced. You can also prepare from OP Tandon, it has good explanation and certainly its of Jee Level. For in depth knowledge in theory, you must follow NCERT. Other books you can follow are MS Chauhan, Organic Chemistry by Peter Sykes.
