Yes, It is necessary to register for any further round of counseling. Either you are allotted any college or not. If you have confirmed your seat for next round then you can't participate in further rounds. Otherwise opt for float or upgrade. You can't term this as registration, it is simply a choice process for next round. Cause you have already registered for counselling.
