The student passed from NIOS board is also eligible to appear in any Government job oriented entrance exams in which the minimum qualification required is Secondary or Senior Secondary.You are surely eligible for WBJEE.The eligibilty criteria required are:
The applicant must be 17 years old as on or 31st December of the year of admission. However, for the Marine Engineering course, the minimum age is 17 years, and the maximum age is 25 years.
The candidate must have secured minimum 45% aggregate marks in the 12thexamination (40% for reserved category candidates).
For admission to the Jadavpur University, the candidates should have secured minimum 60% of marks (55% for reserved category candidates).
The candidate must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry as the core subjects.
There is no particular Residential/ Domicile requirement to appear in WBJEE 2019.
However, the West Bengal Residential/ Domicile requirement is applicable for admission to any Government Engineering/ Technology colleges of the State as well for admission to any reserved category of seats in respect of any course in any of the enlisted University/ University Department as well as in any Engineering/ Technology college of the state.
The West Bengal Residential/ Domicile requirement is also applicable for any seat under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW) scheme.
