Of course it's good and it's needed. Bcoz you will have numericals tricky questions only in your paper.. There is least possibility of any theory questions coming up for physics... They will be there but not more than 3-4. The more stronger you build your concepts and learn the formulas, the larger grip you get over solving numericals. Solve as many as you can so that you cover maximum number of types and attempting questions in exam becomes easy.
