Hello Aspirant,

Well OBC is categorised to OBC-CL(CL - creamy layer) & OBC-NCL(non creamy layer).In which NCL are those with family income lower than 8 lakhs and CL are those with higher income and the seats are reserved for OBC-NCL not for CL. The CL are as same as the general category.So, to avail the privileges of an OBC you should be under OBC-NCL i.e. you'll be able to acquire an OBC certificate only if you're NCL.
