No one million and one Lakh aren't the same. Because one million is equal to ten lakh, which is represented as 10,00,000 in numbers, as we can see, Ten lakh has a total of 7 digits where the last six digits are zeros, but in one lakh, there are a total of five zeros. Hence it's clear that one lakh isn't equal to one million, but one lakh is equal to 0.1 million.
