No it is not for colleges other than nit and IIT different entrance exam are conducted and admission in these colleges depends on the marks obtained in the respective entrance examination some of them are

No it is not so.
Through jee mains you can go in NIT s IIIT s and GFIT s.
The eligibility criteria for jee is minimum 75%marks in 12 th boards .
But some colleges and universities have their separate counseling which have their own criteria of marks ( JEE mains only or JEE and boards both).
So you can check the eligibility criteria for different colleges.
Some colleges conduct their own entrance exams also so they have also their own criteria.

Hello,
Yes, JEE marks is needed for admission but you will also require to secure a 75% in your respective board you appear in class 12th.And then your jee marks is considered that helps in admission.
