Is qualifying mark are same Plz clarify
- Cutoff is Something which is decided by CBSE Based on students Performance and taking all the mean, median values.
- Usually it varies from year to year based on total number of students written the test and to be qualified for advanced.
- From the past 2–3 Years morethan 1.8 Lakhs are qualified in 2017,2016 where as in 2014,2015 it is close to 1.5 Lakhs students
- So ,as Size Increases Cutoff would be Decreased,
- for this Year 2018, i believe 120+ is safe.
- Comparing from 2016 to 2017 Cutoff is reduced by 19 Marks
Hope this could help to an Extent.

Hello Pranavi,
It is not clear qualifying marks of which entrance exam you want to know about. That being said, qualifying marks aren't fixed as they depend on different factors:
- The number of candidates appearing in the entrance
- The performance of candidates
- The number of seats available
- The difficulty level of the question paper
For example, the qualifying cutoff of JEE Main keeps changing from year to year. Last year the official cutoff for general category was 81, whereas the previous year it was 100.

Best.
