Is R programming useful for CSE students as per now

R is a programming language is mainly for statistical computing and graphics supported by the R Foundation for Statistical Computing. This language is widely used among statisticians and data miners for developing statistical software and data analysis and R programming includes machine learning algorithm, linear regression, time series, statistical inference to name a few. Most of the R libraries are written in R, but when it comes to heavy computational task, C, C++ and Fortran codes are preferred. So for cse students R programming is not much useful, you should better go for programming languages like JAVA, python etc.
