is residential certificate and study certificate both are necessary or study and Bonafide certificates are is enough ?
Hi SUDHEER,
Well both Residential certificate, Study certificate and Bonafide certificates are very important and useful documents with their own different purposes and roles and all are necessary.
A bonafide certificate is a certificate issued by the School/ college to prove that the student has studied in a particular school/ college during the period so and so to prove that the student continued studies and resided in a particular location. This is used as many proofs, like current address proof , identity proof, or it may be used for certain schemes of government. Bonafide certificate is usually used to denote the bonafide place and State of residence and is also known and called a Residence certificate of an individual
Study certificate means you have studied the particular course/ subject or graduated from the school or college. That's an educational certificate. Study certificate is a certificate which indicates and discloses the place where you have studied.
Residence certificates are used to receive benefits that State Governments offer to its bonafide residents . for eg reservation of seats in educational institutes in various courses of studies, reservations in jobs for the same in which a quota of seats is reserved for residents of the particular state. As there are reservation of seats for SC, ST, Backward Classes, Other Backward Classes ; etc. Similarly there is seat reservation for permanent residents of the state.
So, all these three certificates are important.
