RIOS is registered under Act XXI of 1860 Govt. of NCT of Delhi and affiliated with the Chhattisgarh State Open School (CGSOS) Raipur, Govt. of Chhattisgarh. As per the information mentioned on the official website, the validity and equivalence of the certificates issued by Rural Institute of Open Schooling (RIOS) would have equivalence to secondary/ senior secondary/intermediate certificates of other member boards of the COBSE across the country for Government employment and / or for pursuing higher studies.
