    State Institute for Rehabilitation, Training and Research, Rohtak is a public/government institution. It has been functioning directly under the administrative control of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, Govt. of Haryana with the objectives to provide educational as well as rehabilitation services to persons with special needs. It offers Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Psychology, B.Ed. Special Education (Mental Retardation) and D.Ed. Special Education (Mental Retardation).
