Is spot round available for government college ?and what is the process for it ?

The admission process is not uniform across all colleges, as a college may have its own unique admission process. So, while some colleges may have spot round, other colleges may not.

To find out the admission process and whether there is a spot round, you must go through the counselling brochure. In some cases, it may not be mentioned, but spot round may be held if seats remain vacant after normal rounds.

Also, please note that at many time centralized counselling is held, including spot round, with a number of colleges participating in the process.

Normal Process to participate in SPOT Round

In most cases, registrations are opened again in spot round, so that candidates can enter fresh choices or edit/add/remove choices. The candidate though is required to pay a certain fee for participating in this round. Seats are offered on merit ( and also first-come, first-served basis).
