Is "statement of purpose" and "what is your motive behind entering a management career?" the same thing while filling up the application form? or it's different? This may seem like a silly doubt but I want to know before proceeding further with the application form. Please reply to this if you know.

Hey shreenidhi,
It is a bit different and you must have different answers for both the questions.
Statement of purpose basically includes the details mentioned below:
So, it is basically about what your expectations are when you enter the institute.
Taking about your next statement, why did you choose management as your career is basically about why did you choose the field of management. This question is not about your expectations from the institute, but about your interest, motivation and idea behind choosing the management field. By asking this, they want to know the reasons why your are interested and excited about studying management.
Hope this helps!
