Hello,
Yes, Rs 39,000 are refundable only. Rs 1000 will be cut (if you want to withdraw your admission). Also you have the option of getting refund only till 3rd round. After that you can not get a refund. You can participate in spot round even after getting a refund.

Also paying Rs 40,000 is compulsory if you want to proceed to the next round and it is part of the academic fee
