P Es Modern coe is ranked much below than mkss's cummins coe . So I would suggest you to apply for cummins college and not for pes modern . The placement cell in cummins is very good .

See that seat in any college is given by dte as follows: First of all they check how many student have opted there for admission . Then they shortlist the students on basis of General merit number and allocate the seat.
So ladies rank is only for approximation of rank among girls and not used for allocation of college.
