is there an upgradation option available from round 2 to 3 just as we have in round 1? what were the guidelines regarding it the previous year?

Your question doesn't imply on a particular entrance exam. However, the answer of this question varies. In CUET (Common university entrance test), students are provided with the option of upgradation from round 1 to 2, round 2 to 3. In spot rounds, getting an upgradation is almost difficult.
