To get admission in any BTech colleges, you have to appear for entrance exams like JEE Mains or CET. You cannot get direct admission through merit based and by filling online application forms. JEE Mains is a national level entrance exams which gives you a chance to get in any BTech seats across India in top institues like IIT and NIT. But for that, you need to score really good as the demand for these seats are high too. If you want to take admission in your state colleges, then you can appear for CET. Colleges like VIT and BITS have their own entrance exams for admission.
