The seventh round counseling is the last round of counseling process through rankwise segregation.
The special round of counseling can be attended by all the qualified students of Jee mains and a spot admission is given based on rank and vacancies if any. It's also called as spot admission round. I advice you to go for special round if possible, even if you have already go seat. Many a times you get a better seat in this round..

What if I can't get a better seat in special round?Can i go with the seat that I got in 7th round?

Then why it is called special round?Why dont We call it as 8th round?
Because there is no selection as per ranks all the candidates who have qualified can give it a go. Not like the previous rounds where only selected candidates are called.
