Is there any diversity in marks of related to percentile for the students who are from Bio background or from Medical background?
No,don't worry about this.Nothing like this happens.CAT is competitive exam which any graduate from any field can appear in and there is no partiality or diversity whatsoever regarding marks and result.
Prepare well and best if luck.
I hope this helps.
But still my question is that like iims give relief of I think 5% to students from journalism stream s is there any reliability for b.pharm students or not ?
Hello,
Apart from the weightage to CAT percentile, GD score & PI score, IIMs
may additionally use other factors like previous academic performance of the candidates, relevant work experience, gender and academic diversity and other similar inputs in short listing and ranking of candidates at various stages of the admission
process.
Medical/ Bio Background falls into the category of academic diversity and give you a slight edge over the engineers. But, it again is at the discretion of the colleges to provide such benefit to non-engineers.
I personally believe, you should not rely on this factor and work hard for the CAT examination and score well.
Good Luck.
My all doubts are cleared
But
mam is CAT really a toughest exam that everyone says
"TUMSE NA HO PAYEGA"
