is there any drawback in filling EWS cateogry for medical seats??? As many said most of the colleges do no support it..

Hello dear student,
No there is nothing like that just like ok people get reservation for SC ST OBC category and other categories it is also a kind of reservation that students get whose parents income is less than 8 lakhs. And this is is only for the students who belong from general category that is so do not belong from reserved categories that is SC OBC and ST. So if you are eligible for this and you can avail that so why not to go for it and ask for your right. I hope this was helpful
