Hello,
If you will crack GATE you will have 3 years of validity but the validity depends on purpose for which you want your GATE Score to be valid.
For PSUs: Only 1 year i.e. if you have appeared for GATE this year, then you are eligible for appearing in PSU interviews for this year only. Previous year's score won't work.
For BARC: 2 years. BARC considers GATE Score of previous year as well as this year for shortlisting candidates for interview.
For M.Tech in IISc and IITs: 3 Years. You can take admission into these institutes even if you appeared for GATE three years ago.
