Hello,
As far as i am concerned ,there is no increase in the number of seats in any of the nift centers for any category.however in the coming years few seats will automatically increase as a new nift center in panchkula is being opened.

But due to implementation of EWS quota from this year what happens to general catagory seats whether remain same or there is increase in number of seats meant exclusively for general catagory (non EWS general category).

Hello dear ,.No there will be no increase in the number of general seats rather general candidate with an ews certificate will be preferred over a general Candidate without it.for example.
Suppose a candidate has secured 5 th rank.and another general candidate has secured 8th rank but falls under ews category then he will have a better chance of getting adMission through was quota.
He might get the college but one with 5th rank might not.
