is there any money want to pay in first counselling

JoSAA Counseling is held for Seat Allocation and Seat Distribution in Government Funded Technical Institutions (GFTIs), National Institute of Technology (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIITs) on the basis of JEE MAINS Score and for IITs too based on JEE ADVANCED Score. Hence, for getting admission into any of these colleges one must register him through JoSAA Counseling Process.

The Counselling is done in 6-7 rounds along with Mock Seat Allotment Round, and the candidate has to pay Registration Fee at the beginning of the process, and NOT in the First Counseling to be precise. The registration fee is valid for all 6-7 rounds of counselling, and if a candidate withdraws his/her apply before Round 5, then his Money gets refunded back from JoSAA.

You didn't mention which counselling. the one which is going is TNEA counselling. So in that, you have to pay 9180INR for general category for your counselling. which you can pay as 5000 while counselling and 4180 after counselling.

generally many state counselling follow this. SO the fee is arounf 10000 always.
