is there any negative marks in Lic Assistant clerk prelims exams 2019
In prelims, there are three sections in LIC Assistant Exam for one hour duration-
- Numerical Ability
- Reasoning Ability
- English/Hindi
To clear the preliminary exam, candidates need to clear sectional as well as the overall cut-off. The overall cut-off will be decided later.
Out of these, English/Hindi is qualifying in nature.
Now, coming to Mains part, it consists of following with full marks being 200-
Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Aptitude
General or Financial Awareness
English Language
Hindi Language
Quantitative Aptitude
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests for main examination. ¼ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
The marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination (Phase I) will not be added for the selection and the final selection will be based on the marks obtained by a candidate in Main Examination (Phase II).

Yes aspirant, there is negative marking in LIC Assistant prelims exam . And according to marking scheme 0.25 i.e. 1/4 marks are deducted for every wrong answer given. If you are going to appear for prelims then I would like to tell you that the prelims paper consists of 3 sections with a total of 100 questions and the total time given is 1 hour or one can say 20 minutes per section.
