is there any possibility to change the category in jee mains now by going to the jeemains head office at Noida and request them to change the category which was entered wrong during application filling and i was unaware of the mistake until i saw my results which made me unqualified for the advance?

National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the JEE Main 2020 application correction facility until July 31 on the official website. JEE Main 2020 application form was available online from May 19-24 in online mode. Candidates have to enter their application number and password on the JEE Main login window on the official website. JEE Main April 2020 correction window was available to edit/change/update particulars in JEE Main 2020 application form and choice of JEE Main exam centres. Aspirants will be able to change the host of other details like name, category, photo/image, cities, language etc. during the process.

Please note that the correction facility for both types of candidates (fresh or appeared) are provided during this period so that the candidates who have given any incorrect information will get one more (last) chance to correct their details, as mentioned it was last and am so sorry that you cant change it after the results are out.

No. Unfortunately you can not change Category declared during JEE (Main) 2020 registration cannot be changed during JEE (Advanced) 2020 registration.

It is clearly mentioned on jee advance 2020 website that the category which is filled in jee main 2020 application form can not be changed during jee advance registration.
