Hey madhukar,
the big answer for your query is yes.
as it was observed that the number of girls admitting in NIT'S were declining the MHRD decided to reserve some seats for female candidates in NIT,S.
there is a reservation of 14% for female candidates in all the NIT'S throughout the country.
