Is there any service quota for doctors working in rural area ,kerala??
Dear Sunil, NEET PG follows Regulation 9(4) of Medical Council of India which states that Reservation of seats in Medical Colleges for respective Categories in PG Courses shall be as per the laws of the applicable laws of the states and Union Territories. The Supreme Court has declined a petition from Tamilnadu allowing the State to decide on its quota of seats like allowing in service doctors a different source of entry. So as of now, In service doctors who work in the rural areas, irrespective of the State they work in, donot have any service quota.
