is there any way through which a 12th pass PCB student can do electrical engineering or any colleges which provide such courses for pcb student ?
Hi aspirant,
It is not possible to get admission in Engineering graduation if you have not studied PCM stream. Requirement of maths is surely their for B.Tech admission in any stream. But if you want to study maths then-
1) there is a slight chance you can. In VIT there is a course CSE(spl.Bioinformatics). Basically computer science. (Don't mess with this course if you don't have any idea about CS) They will coach you for a month before the first semester. But, there are only 100 seats. If you can't rank under 7000 or lower than that. SO, all you got do is get good rank in that and attend the exam in first 2 days a luck charm.
2) NIIT University's 4 year Integrated M.Sc Computer Science programme is a unique for PCB Students without maths. To enable students to cope with the rigor of the Computer Science discipline which rests heavily on mathematics, they are expected to undergo a carefully designed Bridge Programme in Mathematics. The Bridge Programme is spread across the first two semesters of the M.Sc Programme. The students at the end of the programme would sit in placement along with B.Tech CSE students and can expect similiar placements. Referhttps://www.niituniversity.in/programmes/m-sc-cs for more details
Hope this helps.
