Is there Best Of 5 rule while calculating the percentage?
According to the Best of Five, the primary percentage is determined by the grades obtained in one language subject, specifically English, and the other four subjects in which students achieved high marks. The grades of the remaining subjects are not taken into account when calculating the primary percentage.
For your percentage, you would:
- Choose the top 5 marks: English (90), Mathematics (90), Science (82), Hindi (88), and Computer Applications (75).
- Sum the top 5 marks: 90 + 90 + 82 + 88 + 75 = 425.
- Divide by 5: 425 / 5 = 0.85
- Multiply by 100: 84 x 100 = 85%
