Yes, there is a course named Diploma in Elementary Education (D.EL.ED). It is a two years full time Diploma program designed to train teachers for primary level teaching. It inculdes both theoretical and practical training. The eligibility is passing of 10+2 from a recognized board. The admission is through entrance exam and personal interview.
