No, there is no separate home state quota for UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test) counselling. Unlike some other entrance exams, UPCET counselling for admissions to B.Tech programs in Uttar Pradesh doesn't have a reservation system based on the candidate's domicile state.
Seats are primarily allotted based on a candidate's JEE Main rank. The higher your rank, the better your chances of securing a seat in your preferred college and program.In case of a tie in JEE Main ranks, other factors like Class 12 marks or preferences filled during counselling might be considered for seat allotment.
