hello kanika
there is always a branch sliding option in iits but it is quite difficult as it depends on various aspects such as:
no of vacant seats available of your category in the desired branch
only 10% students can leave a branch for eg 6 of 60 can slide branch.
you will have to fill your branch priority after 1 year so cgpa should be above 9 for core branches.
