Manipal Acadamy for HIgher Education also known as Manipal university is a Private Deemed Uniersity. The campuses are located in the university town of Manipal, Udupi, Karnataka in India. It also has campuses in Dubai and Mangalore.
It also has sister campuses in Sikkim and Jaipur.
It is affiliated to and accredited by  NAAC, UGC, ACU, PCI and AIU.
It offeres courses in multiple disciplines including engineering, nursing, business administration, life sciences etc. In total it offers 218 courses in 19 Disciplines. It is ranked on 18th position in India by NIRF.
To get admission to engineering courses, you need to appear in entrance test MET- 2019 . Admission to foreign nationals are given on the basis of performance in qualifying exams.
The eligibility to appear in MET is that you must have completed class 12th examination / A level / IB / American 12th or equivalent with subjects Physics, English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry / biotechnology/ biology as vocational subjects or optionals.
You also need to have a minimum aggregate of 50% in Physics, maths and one of the optionals taken together.
