Dear Student ,
Basically in Engineering 1st year , all of the domains of engineering are taught . like mechanical , electrical, electronics , computer science etc.
but , if you have chosen any IT field like , CSE.. IT or nearly IT field like ECE , then many of the portions of computer science is covered there . (in ECE .. 50% of the subject are covered basically)
But the syllabus can be varying University as well as Institute wise .
But yes.. some of the colleges may request you to do some MOOC courses on Computer Science subjects so that you can learn advance about the course .
