Is this university is good for mba in operational managment

Is AIMS institute of Managment studies pune good for MBA .? It provides MBA+PGP with NISM certification, & MBA degree from Pune university.

Hey,

In case you have upto 4 or maximum 5 years of work experience you can explore the option of getting a full-time MBA/PGDM. In that case you will have to write entrance exams like CAT, XAT, NMAT, SNAP etc. If you score well in these exams you will have a chance of getting into the top management programs in the country.

Coming to your question about NMIMS. It is one of the top universities which provides management education in the country. Its full-time courses for MBA/PGDM at its Mumbai, Banagalore and Hyderabad campuses are some of the top ranked management programs in the country. For its full-time MBA/PGDM courses you will have to write NMAT which is used by NMIMS to shortlist candidates for its MBA and PGDM programs. The exam is conducted from October to December every year. The exam is conducted by NMATbyGMAC and you can choose the date and time of your choice to deliver the exam. Now coming to the distance education programs from NMIMS. Yes they are good and the applications are currently open. So, if you wish to apply to their PGDBM go ahead and apply to it. Hi Karishma,

In case you are currently working and want to pursue an MBA in Operations Management through distance education go for a university which is able to provide you quality education in terms of the curriculum and learning methodology. The option which you have metioned is not anywhere near to the top management institutes in the country and hence I cannot comment on the quality of learning that you will get after completing this course.

I would strongly advice you to pursue MBA/PGDM through distance education only from top management institutes so that you will be able to build strong fundamental learning to excel in your career.
