I've been alloted a seat in chattisgarh but i don't wanna accept it and wanna participate in further rounds. do i have to accept this seat??

Even if you don't want to accept, as per the rules of the councelling you need to accept only then you can participate in the next rounds. Also if you accept the seat you would have a confirmed seat irrespective of your liking. There are 1000s of students waiting for even what you have got. So I think you should accept it.

To participate in further rounds, you'll have to choose the float option and report to the reporting center with all the required documents. If you don't report then that automatically the choice gets locked. And you won't be able to participate in further rounds.

As per josaa counseling rules and regulations of you getting seat in any round then you should first accept the seat then after you can participate for further round counseling of Jee main .
First you have to accept the seat and then choose the option float for further rounds for better colleges .

After the 1st round of the counselling, you have to go to any institute given in the list by josaa to accept the seat by the jisaka counselling. It does not mean that the seat alloted to you in the 1st round will be freezed. It just means that you accept the seat in josaa counselling and want to go for fir thee rounds

There you will be given the three options of freeze,slide,float for further rounds
