Hello Aspirant!

You have secured 71.84 percentile in the Joint Entrance Exam(Mains). As your rank is obc hence you do not qualify the examination. Hence I would suggest you to opt for the top private engineering colleges like BITS, VIT, SRM, etc by giving their respective entrance tests as they are placement-wise very strong also the quality of teaching and these institutions is excellent. Rather you can also choose any state private engineering college to pursue your b.tech in chemical engineering.

I am sorry your OBC Category rank would  really not be enough to fetch you some decent colleges as the competition always go really high as everyone aims for these govt colleges.I am sharing a link below,please check the colleges you may expect to get with reference to previous year's data.This link will compile all the colleges at one place and give you a list.

You may also try checking out JIIT, VIT,Manipal or Thapar. These are some of the better options in private colleges.
