Hello Karan,
Yes, The 2 years should be after your 12th boards. This is so because they specify that your date of birth should be within 2 years. For example if I wrote jee main paper this year, the qualifying date of birth is 01/01/1999 which means a student who took 2 years drop can write the exam along with me.
