Hi Rahuldeep,
JEE Mains is aaj entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) which is held twice a year in January as well as in April.
You can appear for JEE Mains in consecutive three years when appearing for your 12th which means that you still have 2 years or 4 more attempts.

Hope it helps :)
Hello there!
As far as I know, according to guidelines, you can give JEE Advanced only twice. That means (1) In the same year you are appearing for your 12th boards.
(2) One year just after the year you appeared in your 12th boards.
If you skip JEE Mains due to any reason in the year you are giving your boards, you can not give JEE Advanced in that year. You can only give JEE Advanced an year after your boards if you clear the JEE Mains cutoff in that year.
Hope you understood.
But what if I reappear for CBSE 12th class in 2020.
So it's my first and last attempt for advanced in 2020.
Any recommendations for preparation other than Coaching material.
