Jee mains 93per. Rank 78661 .I have yet not participate in coucilling (I do not know much about coucilling process can someone tell me).?

The Joint Seat Allocation Auhtority (JoSAA) deals with the counselling process for JEE Mains. The JoSAA authorities will allot seats for NITs,IITs and GFITs. Below I have provided the counselling process for JEE Main 2019 -

• Step 1 : Online Registration - The candidates needs to register online to JoSAA by entering their roll number and password inorder to participate in JEE Main counselling process.
• Step 2 : Online Choice Filling and Locking - The candidates will have to enter their choice of college and branch as per their preference.
• Step 3 : Seat Allotment - On the basis of availablity of seats , merit , and entered choices the seats will be allotted. However, before the final allotment , two mock allotment rounds will also be conducted whcih will inturn allow the candidates to know the seat allotment process and accordingly choose their prefered college and branch.
• Step 4 : Payment of Fee and seat Acceptance - Once the candidates have allotted the seats they will have four options to choose from:
• Freeze - If candidates are satisfied with their seats then they have to check this option
• Float - If candidates want to keep the allotted seat but also wants to upgrade the seat, this option is for them
• Slide - If the candidate wants to keep the allotted seat but also want to upgrade it in the same college, they have to stick to this option
• Withdraw - If the candidates already have accepted the seat , they can withdraw their seat by reporting at the allotted institute before the last round of seat allotment.
• Step 5 : Verification of Documents : Candidates needs to verify the required documents at the help centres.
• Step 6 : Final Reporting at the Allotted Institute : After the verification is done the candidates needs to report to the alootted institute and pay the balamce fees and confirm admission.

However , the JoSAA registration ended on 25th June. You can apply for the Special Round Counselling of JEE Main conducted by CSAB .
