You do not need to fill the registration number column because it is not needed. You can fill your 12th class roll number on the 12th grade roll number column and that will be used to submit your application. Ensure you fill all the necessary information correctly.

To all the 12th grade students in the midst of tackling their JEE Main applications, please, don't fret. When you get to the registration number section, just key in your current 12th grade board registration or roll number exactly as your school or board has provided it. If, by chance, you haven't been given a number yet, the form allows you to either leave the space blank or write "applied for." This piece of information can be adjusted later, once you've been issued your official board registration number. You'll have the chance to update this either before the exam itself or during the correction period that's set aside.
