Yaah off course solving previous year JEE paper will make you the actual feel of the IIT- JEE Mains and regarding the changing of the pattern it has not been officially declared by the CBSC or any conducting authorities. So better try to solve previous year JEE Mains papers.

Irrespective of the fact that the pattern has changed and you may have to study a new pattern
it always helps for a candidate to study previous year pattern as it consists of many questions and the relative idea where they can score more and learn types of questions
