In order to take admission for M.Tech you have to give entrance called GATE.You can appear for GATE if you are in final year of B.E. / B.Tech or have passed the B.E./ B.Tech.Then seats for M.Tech will be allocated via centralized admission process based on score of GATE.

So to get a seat in Mtech in any of the government engineering colleges you have to clear GATE with a really good rank.See you can also get good private college as many private colleges conduct their own entrance exam for mtech but then doing m tech from a private college is of no use.

You can get a MTECH seat if you will qualify the gateonly unless you qualify thegate you can't get an MTECH seat , if you get a very good score you can also get a good seat in MTECH IN IIT TOO,so all the best for your future

Yeah Ritu definitely you will be able to take the admission in the M.Tech via any respective entrance exam or via the GATE based upon the scores you scored you can be able to take the admission in any of the respective Institution but the only thing which you need to do is to decide which entrance exam you want to go through with and based upon that you need to make your stratigies for the preparation.
