Suppose there are 7 rounds in total. You expect your favourable seat in 7th round. If you get a seat in 1st round then you have to go to your nearest NIT or IIT for document verification. You will have three options there, Float, slide and freeze.

1) FLOAT: if you want different college.

2)SLIDE: If you want different branch in same college.

3)FREEZE: If you like the branch and college.

if you want to change that, you'll have to go to a NIT or IIT again. Otherwise it will remain float slide or freeze , as you selected in the first round.
