Neet is the only examination conducted in India for admission to all Medical, Dental and Ayush courses. This is the only entrance examination for admission to all private and government colleges of India and abroad. Without qualifying Neet, candidates are not able to get admission even in private Medical colleges. To eligible for Neet, the candidate must has passed 12th or equivalent from a recognized board with English and Physics, Chemistry annd Biology or Biotechnology (have to pass in both the theory and practical examination) with at least 50% (for general category) marks in aggregate of PCB (Includes both theory and practical score) and this is 40% for OBC, SC and ST candidates and 45% marks for PwD candidates.
