Hello Shivam,
If you want to become an IPS officer, the process begins by taking the UPSC Civil Services Exam after your graduation. To set yourself up for this exam, the best option in 11th grade is to choose a stream in Arts/Humanities, preferably with subjects like History, Political Science, Geography and Economics. These subjects will provide you with a solid foundation that you can build upon in your examination syllabus for the UPSC.
While you can choose any stream (Science, Commerce or Arts) in 11th grade, since the UPSC exam is open to graduates from all streams, graduating from Arts or Humanities is normally preferred since it is more heavily represented in the UPSC examination syllabus and allows for an easier preparation process.
