l got 80 percent in+2 in maths , physics and chemistry i have SC reservation which college we get CSE Branch and which college is best
If you passed in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as your subjects then you can pursue courses such as BE/B.Tech in Engineering. This course is of 4 years, you can select the branch in which you have to specialize this course but in your case you have already selected that as CS(Computer Science) . To get admission in best colleges you have to pass JEE main and JEE advance exam with good marks. JEE main and advance marks are something which can get you admitted in NITs and IITs. General category students have to obtain 200-210 marks to appear in JEE advance exam. As you have SC reservation so you have to score only 150-160 marks to qualify for JEE advance exam. If you have given the exams and secured good marks then you can get admission in various colleges like :-
- IIT (DELHI)
- IIT (BOMBAY)
- IIT (MEERUT) etc.
On the other hand, if you have not passed them then don't take a drop , it is never a good idea. Try getting admission in private colleges which take your boards marks as primary. Just do B.tech from these colleges and work hard for a good placement.
List of some of the best private engineering colleges is given below:-
- Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS) , Pilani
- Vellore Institute of Technology , Vellore
- Birla Institute of Technology , Mesra
- RV college of Engineering (RVCE) , Bangalore
- SRM University , Chennai
- Thapar University, Patiala
- MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology (MSRIT) , Bangalore
- Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal
- Sardar patel college of engineering (SPCE) , Mumbai
- BMS College of engineering (BMSCE) , Bangalore
Hey Sivakumar
First of all, congratulations on scoring such good marks in your boards but you have not mentioned the name of the entrance exam through which you want to take admission. Most colleges conduct CET like JEE or KCET or COMEDK for admission in BTech courses and not the marks you have got in 12th (except KCET Stream 2).
There are some universities and colllleges though like LPU, VIT, KIIT etc which have taken admission this year on the basis of 12th marks due to covid 19 situation.
